Southern Nash (3-3, 1-0 Big East)  … After a slow start to the season, the Firebirds won their first conference game in overtime – 3-2 against Wilson Fike. After this game, the Firebirds face Wilson Hunt and Rocky Mount.

Northern Nash … The Knights are having a down year, by comparison, but likely will contend for a conference title. Knocking off Southern Nash early in the conference season would be a step in the right direction.

Key matchup … Southern Nash will need to rely on its possession to keep the ball away from the Knights’ talented front line. But the Firebirds’ speed up front is a wicked temptation.
