Edward Jones tied with Fidelity Investments for the top spot in the recently released J.D. Power 2015 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study, the financial-services firm has announced.

Using responses from more than 5,300 investors at full-service investment firms, the study measures overall satisfaction based on investment advisers, investment performance, account information, account offerings, commissions and fees, website and problem resolution, a release says. The survey was conducted Jan. 5 to Feb. 3.

“We believe that our strong performance is driven primarily by the relationship our financial advisers have established with clients,” Jim Weddle, Edward Jones’ managing partner, said in the release. “Our financial advisers strive to understand investors’ needs and goals, focus on the long-term relationships and create a partnership.”

Edward Jones has ranked highest in the J.D. Power surveys in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012 and tied for the spot in 2002, the year the study began.

Edward Jones provides financial services to almost 7 million U.S. and Canadian clients through a network of 14,000-plus advisers, including nine offices among Rocky Mount, the Battleboro community, Nashville and Tarboro. Its headquarters is in St. Louis. For information, go to edwardjones.com.
