Jaycees offer economic outlook program

Nash County leaders will offer insights into local business activities and recruitment at an economic outlook luncheon to be held at noon Tuesday at the Carolinas Gateway Partnership.

Sponsored by the Rocky Mount Jaycees, the speakers will be:

  • Krista Ikirt and Oppie Jordan – Carolinas Gateway Partnership.
  • Alan Matthews – Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Dr. Trent Morhbutter – Nash Community College.

“Our presenters are the ones who meet with prospective businesses and investors and help facilitate new business and expansion that creates jobs and economic opportunity,” Jaycee chapter President Kenneth Hunter said in the release.
