Program offers college savings advice

Families planning to set aside money for their children’s education can find some help in an upcoming seminar to be offered by two Edward Jones brokers.

The free program “College: Getting There From Here” will be offered from 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Benvenue Country Club, a release says.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Questions for investors to consider as they establish a college savings goal.
  • Strategies to reach those goals.
  • Features and benefits of various education savings plans.

The program is sponsored by C.B. Bunting and Nathan Lindeman, the release says.

Dinner will be served following the program.

The country club is at 100 Southern Blvd.
