A national insurance industry group has recognized a longtime Rocky Mount agent.

Rich Cheney, a State Farm Insurance agent, has been presented Quality Awards by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers. The honors are based on an agent’s education, earned industry designations, production as measured by performance metrics customized for each practice specialty, adherence to the association’s ethical code and service to the group.

“The NAIFA Quality Awards are more than a measure of an adviser’s production,” Terry Headley, the association’s immediate past president, is quoted as saying in a release. “By emphasizing quality client service, education, ethical conduct and service to NAIFA in addition to production, the NAIFA Quality Awards are a mark of excellence to be recognized by advisers and consumers alike.”
