Nashville photographer Angela Blankenship has earned the certified professional photographer designation from the Professional Photographic Certification Commission.
To earn the designation, Hinnant completed a written exam, successfully submitted her work to a panel of judges for review and approval, finished an image evaluation and agreed to adhere to a stringent code of conduct.
The commission recognizes fewer than 2,000 certified professional photographers worldwide. Fewer than 50 in North Carolina have earned the designation.
“Becoming a CPP holds me to a higher standard,” Blankenship is quoted as saying in a release. “Just as doctors and other professionals seek certification in their industries, I wanted to show the public my qualifications to be the best photographer possible for them.”
