Rocky Mount dentist Dr. Debra Zombek recently completed an implant dentistry training program.

The 10-month program offered by Georgia Health Science University and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry included more than 360 classroom and clinical training hours. After the class, Zombek passed a comprehensive exam, which is one of the requirements to earning a fellowship in the dental society.

Zombek earned her undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She and her husband live in Clayton.
