Army Pfc. Rodney C. Kingsberry has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Okla.

The nine-week program included classroom and field training on the service’s mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, basic combat skills, weapons and marksmanship, chemical warfare, map reading, field tactics and basic first aid.

He is the son of Rodney C. Kingsberry Sr. of Coggins Court, Rocky Mount, and Stephanie Kingsberry of Brown Grier Road, Charlotte.
