CASTALIA – Maggie Lee Freeman and
Jeremy Travis Lamm Barnes were married at 4 p.m., Nov. 5, 2011 at ROMA’S Clydesdale Farm in Castalia.
Rev. Woody Jones performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Judy Freeman.
Grandparents of the bride are Rachel Lynn Freeman, the late Drake Freeman, Ruby Tunnell and the late Bill Tunnell.
The groom is the son of Jayne Brantley Barnes and the late
Joseph Douglas Lamm.
Grandparents of the groom are Sue Brantley, the late Adolph Brantley and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Lamm.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Brittany Freeman Barnes of Crestview, Fla., sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Freeman of Nashville, sister-in-law of the bride, Elizabeth Cahoon of Nashville, Ann Beaman of Statonsburg, Courtney Sharp of Sims, Robin Freeman of Castalia, aunt of the bride, and Hi Hope
Contessa, the bride’s horse.
Grace and Madison Barnes, both of Crestview, Fla. and Annaliese and Aubrey Freeman, both of Nashville, all nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.
Graham Barnes of Wilmington, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Nelson Brantley of Bailey, uncle of the groom, Richard Brantley of Bailey, uncle of the groom,
Christopher Hill of Wilson, Douglas Daniel of Sims and Billy Freeman of Nashville, brother of the bride.
Honorary groomsmen was Michael Barnes of Crestview, Fla., brother-in-law of the bride.
Will Brantley of Bailey, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Music was provided by Brenda Jones and The Davis Family Choir.
Amy Brantley served as register attendant.
Kathy Freeman Robles and Elijah Malloy served as program attendants.
Reception Greeters were Sheila Freeman, John Freeman and Danny and Linda Bell.
A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, was held at ROMA’S Clydesdale Farm.
Following a wedding trip to The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, the couple will live in Castalia.
The bride graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business Management. She is employed by Fresh-Pik Produce in Wilson.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with an Associates Degree in Agriculture Business Management. He is employed by Hill Building Contractors in Wilson.
On June 4, 2011, an engagement party was given by Billy and Stephanie Freeman and Michael and Brittany Barnes at the home of Billy and Stephanie Freeman.
On July 9, 2011, a wedding shower was given by the groom’s family at Brantley Farms.
On Sept. 10, 2011, a wedding shower was given by the bride’s family at ROMA’S Clydesdale Farm.
On Oct. 8, 2011, a bridesmaid’s brunch was given by Faye and Elizabeth Cahoon at their home.
On Sept. 9-11, 2011, a bachelor party weekend was given by friends of the groom at Atlantic Beach.
On Sept. 16-18, 2011, a bachelorette weekend was given by friends of the bride at Emerald Isle.
On Nov. 4, 2011, a rehearsal dinner was given by the mother of the groom at Birchwood Country Club.
