I would like to make a comment pertaining to Mayor David Combs.
I would just like to say that I am glad to see an elected official doing what he is suppose to do.
Mayor Combs is working to better the city of Rocky Mount and the surrounding areas.
To me, he is an example of what an elected official should do and he seems to remember that the people elected him, not special interest groups.
It has been really good to see that he is working towards improving the city instead of catering to special interest groups.

I mean...come on...answer what has he done.....Fred Turnage got us through Hurricane Floyd, opened up the Imperial Center. WHAT HAS COMBS DONE??? Just put some facts in your article for crying out loud!

At least his wife is not a racist! LOL. I guess I have a beef with him for a couple reasons...One...Our crime is horrible....2)our unemployment rate is one of the highest in the state...and 3) I met him at a social event when he introduced himself to me while I was in a line for a drink. (the only reason he did this was to cut in front of me in line) Arrogant as can be....

I mean....we are all setting good examples. LOL....No specifics here....He's the mayor for crying out loud....shouldn't he do SOMETHING besides his FIRST job of selling real estate? Come on!
