Can Nash-Rocky Mount school board members please explain why they are going to wait a year after the new school opens to redraw the school lines?

It certainly looks like it would make more sense to have these lines drawn when children start in the new school. The school board knew this school was going to be finished, so why didn’t they start on time with their planning process?
