Who cut the trees down?

There is a parcel of land between Wesleyan Boulevard, Hilltop Shopping Center and Benvenue Road just past Western Sizzlin that contained eight trees about the size of a dogwood.

Every February for years these trees brought joy to everyone passing by and blossom with pink blossoms until they were about the size of a huge pink bundle of candy cotton.

They would last about three or four weeks or until a hard frost came along.

Someone cut them down.

It is such a shame.
