Common Law Robbery

1108 Barnes St.

Victim: Male, age 79

Suspect: Unknown black male, described as approx. 19 years old, wearing a black toboggan and a black hooded sweatshirt

The victim was inside his vehicle when the suspect approached his vehicle, physically assaulted the victim and removed his wallet. The suspect fled on foot towards Kings Circle. Narcotics and Alcohol Violations

1800 Stone Rose Dr. - parking lot of Da Boatryde Nightclub

Suspect: Laquan Javon Allen, age 19

The suspect, Allen, was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot and was charged with possession of marijuana (.85 grams) and consuming alcohol underage.

Alcohol Violation

1171 Jeffreys Rd. - parking lot of Gator’s Nightclub

Suspects: Michael Allen Ezzell Jr. age 30 and Chadwick Pittman, age 30

The suspects were observed drinking alcohol in the parking lot and walking towards the ABC store property. Both suspects were charged with consuming a spirituous liquor; Ezzell was also charged with littering.

Trespassing, Assault & Indecent Exposure

406-C Edgecombe St.

Victims:Male, age 51 and female, age 46

Suspect: Unknown black male, described as approx. age range 39-42, thin build, dark complexion, missing teeth

The suspect approached the victims at their residence and asked to use the restroom. The male victim told the suspect to leave. The suspect then exposed himself to the victims. The male victim called the police and the suspect physically assaulted the male victim and brandished a knife. The suspect fled on foot. The male victim declined medical assistance. Assault Inflicting Serious Injury

4351 Layola Ave.

Victim: William Stanley Richardson Jr., age 22

Suspect: Unknown black male - no further description available

Officers responded to a shooting call on Layola Avenue. The victim alleged he and an unknown male suspect had engaged in a verbal altercation on Layola Ave. and the suspect attempted to shoot at him. The victim fled on foot to 4351 Layola Avenue and the suspect followed him. The suspect entered the residence and shot the victim in the arm. The suspect fled on foot. The victim was uncooperative as to the suspect’s description. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Disorderly Conduct

770 N. Wesleyan Blvd. - Circle K

Suspects: Bryan McGee, age 34, Martin Liggins, age 22 and Jasper Richardson, age 26

The suspects were charged with disorderly conduct by abusive language for disorderly conduct in the parking lot. Each was issued a $1000 secured bond and was transported to the Nash County Jail.

Weapon Violation

426 Craig St.

Suspect: Jabari Oajuqon Thorpe, age 18

Officers responded to a shots fired call. Thorpe was charged with discharging a firearm (handgun) in the city limits and was issued a $1000 secured bond. He was transported to the Nash County Jail.
