I count 15 advertising supplements coming up in Sunday’s Telegram. I’ll look at seven today and the rest tomorrow, so let’s go:

Petco has a flyer on Sunday and they don’t run all that often. But they’re promoting their anniversary sale. They’ve got some two week only specials and some great deals, including several buy one get one free offers.

Michaels this week has a Halloween 50 percent off sale. The entire front page of their flyer is filled with 50 percent off items, plus the bottom corner features a 50 percent off coupon for any one regular price item.

Direct TV has a flyer that they’re claiming is their best offer only. For a limited time you can get their lowest price ever plus a free Genie whole-home HD DVR upgrade.

Aldi has a lot of Halloween items in their Sunday circular. And they encourage readers to check in store for more Halloween items. Some of the specials include such items as Halloween frosting, sugar cookies, creepy confetti cake mix and Grafix glow wands, bracelets and swords.

Wal-Mart has two flyers coming up on Sunday. One is for their Simple Meals program. They’ve even rolled out a website to help you find meal ideas and plan your shopping list. Check it out at Walmart.com/simplemeals.

Walgreens also has several buy one get one free items and their deal of the week is 10 for $5 on Sunny Smile paper towels or big roll bath tissues, with card.

Finally, Office Depot is celebrating customer appreciation month, and one great specials this week is 50 percent off Brenton Studio air mesh manager chair, now only $69.99.

Tomorrow, I’ll look at Target, Tuesday Morning and the new SmartSource magazine. Be sure to look for it.

I’ve ordered some German food online; the sauerkraut has arrived but the wurst is yet to come.
